Ady is 4 years old, and she was diagnosed on Thursday, May 19, 2011 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Within 48 hours of being diagnosed, she went through 4 blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and put on a 2 year treatment plan. This is a shock to everyone, as the symptoms were only clear after the diagnoses.

Please say some prayers for Ady.
Tomorrow night is my turn for making dinner for Ady and her family . I've made a simple dinner of taco meat & tortillas, and I'm sending it along with vegies, salad, olives, sour cream, cheese, and dessert.
They have been in and out of the hospital almost every other day with Ady since the 19th, it seems.
Its just unbelievable to imagine - this is hard enough to hear when it is someone you don't know, but wow how much more real it becomes when it happens close to home!
I've been giving my kiddo's lots of extra hugs lately and saying lots of prayers for Ady. I hope I never have to get any closer to this than I am right now. Her family is so strong, I don't know how they are doing it.
Have a good day...
