Friend Check up - Pay It Forward!

I don't know if anyone is reading my blog this week, and honestly it is a huge thing for me to keep up with my blog reading, my normal business, and crafting.

But apparently, this game has been going
around the blog world.
I haven't seen it until now, but I love the concept!

The "it" can be as small as a book mark!

I spotted the game on Quilter in the Gap, a blog hosted by Rhonda. She is a super quilter and you can see her passion on her website.

Here are the details of the game:
  1. I will make a little something for the first 3 people who comment on this post. It will be a surprise and it will arrive when you least expect it.
  2. I will have 365 days to do it in. What's the catch? To get a handmade present from me, you have to play too! This means YOU pledge to send a little handmade something for 3 readers of your blog. It doesn't have to be quilty - just handmade.
  3. You must have a blog.
  4. Once you comment here, you must post about your Pay It Forward on your blog to keep the fun going - with the Pay It Forward badge. Also, feel free to join the Flickr group to see what else is being sent!
I saw the Pay-It -Forward post on her site last night. I hesitated to join in because Rhonda and I, who have not met, were recently swap partners who exchanged fabric scraps. But tonight after work I went straight to her site, and I guess Tuesday is a hard day to keep up with blogs, because I was able to join in!

If you are reading this, I hope you'll consider joining in. What's so fun is that there is no set date. You get to surprise someone when they least expect it.

I'm going to take some hand sewing projects and pick up my daughter from an event. I wonder how long I'll get to wait in the car so I can work on my project??

I hope you get the chance to be creative today!

  1. Last time I waited for my daughter I kept sending Twitter comments about the "goofy" people in the parking log. I had a great time making fun of people. That's bad huh!!
