First I looked up fur neck warmers online. I found them at several places. Neiman Marcus and Ann Taylor Loft have them, as well as Tory Birch's - shown here - for $198. Of course, the Tory Birch neck warmer pictured here is real rabbit fur.

Then I found a tutorial on a blog called ...love Maegan. I was going to make it in the way she describes anyway, but I was very glad to follow her walk-through for the last part. I won't go step-by-step here because she does. Check it out! If you click on Maegan's picture at the top of the blog, or on the title just above, you will go right to her tutorial.
Now here is MY model:
Okay, ignore the fact that this is a 13 yr old - soon to be 14 yr old - modeling this faux fur neck warmer. If you can't tell, she doesn't really want to be photographed.
And here is another of my models, but this one is 16. Check out how SHE chooses to wear it. Not sure if she is kidding, though...
Have a great day.
I hope you get a chance to be creative today!
ahhh so fun! This came out great! =)

ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I may have to try it. I actually think it looks really cute on her head as a hat/head wrap! :)We're thinking about doing your Mod Podged soaps at our craft day for a moms club too.
